Stories in the Sky at the Balloon Museum

Join teacher and musician Maryse Lapeirre for the Stories in the Sky program. This event will include a reading of the award-winning children’s book, Evan and the Skygoats, published by Leaf Storm Press. Meet author Vanessa Vassar, enjoy a cello performance by Evan Daitz, and color your own book cover designed by illustrator Ophelia Cornet. Free event admission also includes complimentary entrance to the Balloon Museum.

Lavender Farm Book Reading and Event

Join author Vanessa Vassar and illustrator Ophelia Cornet as they celebrate receiving Purple Dragonfly Book Awards for Evan and the Skygoats published by Leaf Storm Press.

This outdoor event hosted by Lisa Fontanarosa of Jo’s Farms will include petting baby goats, picking lavender, cello performances by the real Evan and cellist Lisa Donald, book copies for sale, a reading of the children’s book by Samantha Daitz next to the lily pond, and signing by the author and illustrator.
